The new Intel server platforms are perfect for web servers, print servers, and storage servers.
Built on the new 3400 series Xeon™ architecture, they deliver world class performance and increased energy efficiency.
They support up to six DIMMs of efficient DDR3 memory, flexible storage configurations, and Intel® server management software.
The Intel® SR1630GPNA includes an S3420GPLC board with support for Xeon™ 3400 series processors, passive heatsink, 350W power supply, Intel's® basic rack rail, a PCI Express riser card, and room for two internal hard drives. The chassis measures just 20" deep, has four rear USB ports and one front panel USB port, six DIMM slots for DDR3 1066/1333 (up to 32 GB), dual gigabit ethernet connections, and a slim-CD drive can be added. Alternatively, the SR1630HGPNA platform features 3 hot-swap hard drive carriers, and is slightly longer at 25.51" deep.
