Backplane Rack-Mount Case
   Our
4U industrial 14 slot back plane, rack mounted computer case will support
our 14 slot passive back planes. There are three exposed 5.25" drive
bays, one exposed 3.5" bay, and one internal 3.5" bays, all
mounted on a floating shock-mounted frame, with a locking drive cover.
A second 12 x 12cm ball bearing cooling fan is built-in with a removable
filter. An adjustable expansion card clamp is built into this sturdy case,
to keep adapter cards in place under shock and vibration The CS402
case includes a 250 watt power supply, the CS462 case
includes a 300 watt power supply and the CS472 has a
redundant Hot Swap 300 watt power supply. All have ball
bearing fans and UL/ CSA/ TUV/ FCC/ CE approvals. Please see our accessory_page

Included with the chassis is a Temperature Alarm Module with two temperature probes. If an over temperature condition occurs, or a fan should fail the module sounds an alarm, and the mother board fan sensor is triggered. An alarm reset switch and two LED's are provided behind the access door.

Back-Plane Style systems require: a Backplane board, a single board computer card, a CPU, and a cooling fan. Back-Plane Board: MB600 has a total of 14 slots, 7 ISA slots, 4 PCI slots, and 3 PICMG slots for a single board computer or ISA use. 13 slots will be free after the SBC card is installed. It is fully PICMG 2.1 Compliant. MB602 has a total of 14 slots configured with 5 ISA, 7 PCI and 2 PICMG slots for a single board computer or ISA use. 13 slots will be free after the SBC card is installed. It is fully PICMG 2.1 Compliant with an active PCI bridge. MB616 has a total of 14 slots configured with 2 ISA, 10 PCI and 2 PICMG slots for a single board computer or ISA use. 13 slots will be free after the SBC card is installed. It is fully PICMG 2.1 Compliant with an active PCI bridge. MB617 has a total of 14 slots configured with 1 ISA, 12 PCI and 2 PICMG slots for a single board computer or ISA use. 13 slots will be free after the SBC card is installed. It is fully PICMG 2.1 Compliant with an active PCI bridge.

Pentium 4, 800FSB Socket 478 Single Board Computer:
Designed with Intel's® 865 chipset, the MB668 single board computer supports P4 processors
with Hyper-Threading Technology with bus speeds up to 800MHz. It also supports up to
2GB of dual channel DDR400 SDRAM. The rear I/O features Gigabit ethernet LAN, 2 USB 2.0 ports,
PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and a VGA connector for its onboard Extreme Graphics 2.0.
Additional I/O are available on header connectors. It also has all the standard features for
embedded systems, such as programmable watchdog timer, hardware monitoring, modem-ring-on, and wake-on-LAN.
