The J2170 [beige] and J2670 [black] are redesigned and improved versions of our popular 2U Micro chassis. At only 2U high and 17.3" deep, this chassis is the solution to your limited rack space. The design improvements in airflow and layout now permit the latest high-power, multi-core processors and system boards to run fast and run cool. Also, the standard size ATX IO shield cutout is compatible with any Micro-ATX form factor system board, so custom IO shields are not required. Two internal drive bays are positioned to take advantage of the incoming airflow, providing you with a high-capacity, fan-cooled storage solution.

Other features include two stacked 5.25" bays - rare on a chassis only 2U high. This allows you to mount larger, more widely-available bay devices. Plus, the stacked configuration allows a triple-removable drive carrier to be mounted in the same space to maximize your removable storage options.

Two high-power 80mm Sunon fans will boost the intake airflow when the system demands it. The larger ventilation areas on both the front and rear of the chassis let the air flow through quieter. A large removable air filter is provided to reduce dust build-up - extending the life and performance of heat sinks and fans. The lockable panel on the left protects the controls and a pair of front USB 2.0 ports.

We currently have one riser card option to support one 32-bit PCI slot: The optional riser card plugs into the last card slot (closest to the edge) of system boards with a 32 or 64-bit PCI slot in this position For system boards with uncommon slot configurations, or to install a PCI-express card, relocator risers (flexible cable card-extenders) can be used instead.
