New! 2U Compact ATX Case, 20.5" Deep with 6/7 bays.
The J2160 and J2660 are the first of a new line of reconfigurable cases, designed to adapt for your needs.
At only 20.5" deep, this new chassis is our shortest 2U that can house full size ATX boards, and full length PCI cards.
Its unique adaptable bay design allows for up to two removable 3.5" hard drives and a slim DVD±RW drive!
Three 80mm system fans, and a compartmentalized layout ensure cooling of all components, forcing airflow through all internal and exposed drive bays.
Both air intakes are also guarded with removable air filters for easy, tool-free maintenence.
Behind the wide lockable access panel are two front panel USB ports, system reset and ATX power switch, and controls for an optional thermal alarm.
Inside are four bays for hard drives suspended on shock-resistant vibration-dampening grommets.
An adjustable baffle and row of tie-down slots keep cables neatly secured.
Adjustable card-edge retainers are provided in two different lengths (three long and three short) to keep PCI cards securely fastened.
Three full-height card slots are available on the standard chassis with a wide range of riser cards to choose from.
With the optional 7-slot rear panel, up to seven low-profile PCI cards can be used.
Be sure to ask about custom paint and silkscreen options. Custom IO panels are also available.
Drive Bay Configurations:
The standard chassis is equipped with one 5.25" bay and one "low-profile" 5.25" bay with a 3.5" bay adapter.
"Low-Profile" bays are the same width as 5.25" bays, but only 30mm high.
1 5.25" bay, 1 3.5" bay:
The 3.5" bay is in a vented adapter for hard drives, card-readers, or any other 3.5" bay device.
1 5.25" bay, 1 Low-Profile 5.25" bay:
Storcase® model DE75 removable hard drives can be mounted directly into these low-profile bays.
CRU Dataport® model DPLP removable drives can also be mounted using the RK624/RK625 bracket.
2 Low-Profile 5.25" bays, 1 Slim-CD bay:
This setup allows for two removable hard drives to be mounted, without sacrificing an optical drive.
A slim CD/DVD drive and RK626/RK627 bracket are required.
Riser Card Options:
The options for riser cards depend greatly on the type of connectors available motherboard.
The riser card used must have slots at the correct height, and must attach to position-6 on the system board (counting from the slot farthest from the CPU).
For system boards with a 32-Bit PCI slot at position-6 (such as Intel® 945 series boards) the riser card options are:
2 32-Bit PCI slots using the RK574 Triple-Relocator riser card. On most motherboards, one of the 3 slots cannot be used.
3 32-Bit PCI slots with a special order riser.
2 32-Bit PCI slots and 1 PCI-Express x16 using the RK632 Dual PCI-32, Single PCIe riser card.
1 32-Bit PCI slot, 1 PCIe x1 slot, and 1 PCIe x16 using the RK633 Dual PCIe, single PCI-32 riser card.
For system boards with a PCI-Express x1 slot at position-6 (such as Intel® 965 series boards) the riser card options are:
2 32-Bit PCI slots using the RK574 Triple-Relocator riser card. One of the 3 slots cannot be used.
For system boards with a PCI-Express x16 slot at position-6 (like some MSI® boards) the riser card options are:
2 32-Bit PCI slots using the RK574 Triple-Relocator riser card. One of the 3 slots cannot be used.
2 32-Bit PCI slots and 1 PCI-Express x16 with a special order riser card.
An option for a PCIe x16 riser card at position-7 will be available soon.
Additional options will be added as more riser cards become available.

RK631 - Support for Full-Length PCI Cards
For PCI cards more than 240mm long, two of the internal hard drive bays can be removed for additional clearance.
For full support of full length PCI cards with retainer guides, this bracket can be added to the chassis.
It mounts in place of the two removed hard drive bays, and the retainers on the tails of long PCI cards are securely held in place.

RK628 - 7-Slot Rear Panel
If more PCI slots are needed in your 2U system, consider using low-profile PCI cards.
More and more card manufacturers are reducing the size of add-on cards to be compatible with the low-profile PCI standard.
This alternate rear panel replaces the standard rear panel, and provides 7 low-profile card slots.
7 blank PCI slot brackets are also included with this panel.
