At only 1U high and 14.5 inches deep, the GT116 is the smallest server we offer, perfect for applications where space is limited. But its small size is not at the cost of power: Two Intel® Dual-Core™ Xeon® 5110 processors, each with 4MB cache, are built for intense computing environments, 32-bit and 64-bit business-critical applications and high-end workstations. These new 5100 series Xeon® processors are expected to deliver up to 2.25 times the performance and 2.35 times the performance/watt of previous-generation dual-core Intel® Xeon® processors.

Innovative Design:
Three powerful counter-rotating fans force cool air directly over the large copper heat sinks, and over memory, guided by a large removable duct. Large ventilation patterns in the front and rear panel provide plenty of unrestricted airflow to keep the system running cool. The sleek front panel provides a series of diagnostic indicators, with power and reset switches. Two front panel USB 2.0 ports are provided on the font panel, with two more on the rear. The slim chassis layout provides space for one internal 250GB SATA hard drive below a slimline DVD-ROM drive.
