Warranty

There are no warranties, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability, fitness or any particular purpose, condition, durability of suitability, except as expressly set forth herein.

 

Seller (General Technics, Inc.) shall not be responsible or liable for any special incidental or consequential damages, or loss, including loss of profits, arising from the use of the product.

 

Seller offers a 30-day return policy, which is subject to a 20% restocking fee, this allows an item to be returned before 30 days from receipt. No returns for credit will be issued after 30 days from receipt. Costs associated with shipping and handling are not refundable.

 

Software, which has been opened, or has a broken or tampered seal, will not be refunded, however defective disks will be replaced within the 1-year warranty period.

 

Seller warrants that for a period of one year after invoice date to Buyer of Equipment, Spare Parts and Accessories (“Product”) said Product would be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Buyer shall give prompt notice of any claims of defects in materials or workmanship. Any claims, under this Limited Warranty, of such defects not received by Seller within one year after invoice date of the claimed defective Product to Buyer shall be deemed waived.

 

Product claimed to be defective will be repaired or replaced at Seller’s facility at no charge to Buyer, and shall be shipped to Seller at the expense of the Buyer. At the Seller’s discretion, the defective item may be replaced with one of equal or greater value and performance. Seller’s acceptance of Product so shipped shall not be deemed an admission that the Product is defective, and if Seller finds that any Product returned is not defective, such Product will be reshipped to the Buyer at Buyer’s expense. Product found to be defective would be returned to the original shipping address of Buyer, within the continental United States, at the expense of Seller.

 

No Product may be returned to Seller without prior authorization from Seller. Said authorization will be accomplished by the issuance of a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) Number by Seller. Product must be returned in a suitable shipping container conspicuously marked with the RMA number. An RMA number can be obtained by contacting the Seller. RMA numbers will be valid for 10 days after the number is issued.

 

This Limited Warranty does not extend to consumable items, to calibration or to normal mechanical wear.

 

This Limited Warranty shall not apply if the Product has been damaged due to abuse, misuse, misapplication, and accident or as a result of service or modification by any other than, or one authorized by Seller.

Seller reserves the right to reject any and all claims under this Limited Warranty in the event Buyer makes unauthorized changes to the hardware, or installs unauthorized software or hardware in the Product.

 

Seller reserves the right to make changes and improvements to the Product without any liability for incorporating such changes or improvements in any Product previously sold.
